If you can't tell from Tuesday's post, I am a big fan of minimalist fall decor this year. I can't put my finger on exactly why. Maybe because it's like a little nod to the season instead of screaming it from the roof tops. There is something so blissful about fall leaves scattered around the sidewalk and one, simple pumpkin plopped on a stoop. I want that stoop.
Tell me something, would this do it for you when it comes to fall decoration? I realize all of those leaves aren't likely to stay green much longer, but these next few pictures just make me smile...smiling's my favorite. wait, that's a different season.
And now for the wreathes. This green beauty is to.die.for. I think all of these would be pretty easy to DIY and since they're pretty simple, they could be rather cheap as well. Okay, maybe not this first one but....be still my heart.
We'll be headed to a fall festival over the weekend and I'm hoping to pick up a few pumpkins there. I tried to go to some big box stores but I just wasn't in the right environment to make the purchase. Apparently the air must be crisp and smell of farm animals, I must be wear boots and something plaid, and hot apple cider must be in hand for me to pull the trigger on fall decorations.
