Does anyone else have a hard time picking fabric for a space? I don’t know why, but this seems to be a design category that stumps the sh*t out of me. They aren’t permanent at all, actually, quite the opposite, but for whatever reason I have a hard time. Perhaps it’s the mixing and matching and then there is the new mixing that isn’t supposed to match but still TOTALLY works. Whatever it is, it leaves me bo-jangled and stupefied when I’m faced with a fabric decision.
My most recent dilemma has been with the curtain that we will be putting up overtop the refrigerator for some extra (hidden) storage. I’ve visited many fabric shops and perused gazillions of online shops, but nothing spoke to me. Until Ty Pennington did. Well actually his fabrics but same difference. I am in yummy fabric heaven. It’s a little bit groovy and a whole lotta neutral, which means smiles all around. Can’t you just picture it with our new kitchen colors!?!?
The name of the fabric is Kimono in Taupe. It looks like it’s currently out of stock but they have a couple of different variations of it. Since I bought extra, I’m sure this will be popping up in a few places around our little hive.

OMG! I just posted today about this same thing. I completely over think fabric and wind up just stressing out! I do really what you've picked - I love the little pops of blue.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the same boat and thank you!
DeleteI'm so jealous of your kitchen right now, I can't wait for our to be closer to the decorating phase!
